The Role
OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Regulatory, Privacy and Healthcare Legal AI Reviewer for a blinded human-preference study. You will review realistic synthetic legal matters and AI-generated work products, compare outputs against a common comparator, and document which deliverables you prefer and why.
The engagement is remote and involves approximately 30 hours across the project. The structured listing specifies a 20+ hour-per-week time requirement, and the work is offered as a part-time contractor engagement.

What You'll Do
You will assess each work product holistically, using professional legal judgment to determine whether it is correct, complete, well-reasoned, and useful. Your written rationales should be short, specific, and grounded in the materials and instructions provided.
All project materials must remain confidential under a non-disclosure agreement. External AI tools must not be used on project materials.
Read a synthetic legal matter and its underlying documents
Review six blinded AI deliverables for the matter
Complete five head-to-head comparisons against a common comparator output
Write a specific rationale for each preference
Evaluate correctness, completeness, judgment, and usefulness
Follow written instructions and meet the engagement deadline
Keep project materials confidential under an NDA
Required Qualifications
You must be a qualified lawyer with substantive practice experience in regulatory, privacy, and healthcare matters. The role requires precise written English, independent judgment, and the ability to explain why one legal AI output is preferable to another.

Qualified lawyer with substantive regulatory, privacy, and healthcare practice experience
Experience with adviser compliance programs under Rule 206(4)-7

Experience with ESG and sustainability disclosure
Familiarity with DOJ False Claims Act CID responses
Ability to analyze Anti-Kickback and Stark issues
Ability to assess legal work product for correctness, completeness, judgment, and usefulness
Precise written English and the ability to work independently
