The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a public-company investor relations specialist to complete self-contained investor relations exercises using mock results packs, shareholder registers, and analyst models. You will create polished communications and strategic recommendations for AI training and evaluation.
The project is classified as entry level in the listing, but it requires at least four years of in-house investor relations experience at a public company and direct ownership of an earnings cycle.

What You'll Do
You will turn structured mock files into accurate, polished investor relations deliverables. The work includes drafting communications, preparing presentation materials, analyzing ownership information, and developing recommendations supported by scenarios.
Draft quarterly earnings releases, prepared remarks, and Q&A briefings for results calls.
Develop guidance-setting and guidance-revision recommendations supported by scenarios.
Build investor day and investor relations presentation materials.
Create equity story and positioning decks.
Prepare annual general meeting materials and deal announcement packages.
Analyze shareholder registers and ownership bases.
Assess activist vulnerability.
Prepare dividend and capital return recommendations.
Complete evaluation-oriented document work for AI training.
Requirements
You should bring substantial hands-on public-company investor relations experience and strong judgment. Success requires translating company performance and ownership information into clear recommendations, then producing polished written materials from structured mock files.
At least four years of in-house investor relations experience at a public company.
Direct ownership of an earnings cycle covering the release, script, Q&A, and analyst engagement.
Ability to draft earnings communications and prepared remarks from results materials.
Ability to assess shareholder ownership, activist vulnerability, and capital return options.
Strong written communication and document-production skills.
Accurate, polished work based on mock results packs, shareholder registers, and analyst models.
Helpful Background
The following experience is helpful but not stated as required: an IRC charter from NIRI, prior sell-side equity research experience before moving in-house, or investor relations agency experience. Familiarity with quarterly reporting, investor communications, shareholder analysis, and capital allocation materials will also support success.
