About AI training work

AI training (data labeling / human feedback) is the human side of building intelligent systems. Contributors create, review, and rate examples that teach models how to perform real-world tasks like writing, document editing, and business analysis.

This role sits at the intersection of business document expertise and generative AI evaluation: you will design realistic business scenarios and judge which model output best meets professional standards.

The role

We are hiring a PowerPoint Business Document Specialist to create professional .pptx tasks, collaborate with a large language model to edit and produce Office Open XML files, and evaluate model deliverables. This is contract, part-time work with a 20+ hours/week expectation and fully remote (worldwide) eligibility.

Compensation is hourly (PAY_PER_HOUR). Pay range: $20–$60 per hour, with top rates up to $60/hr depending on experience and project needs.

What you'll do

Your core responsibilities combine business judgment, document production skills, and model evaluation to create high-quality training data for generative AI.

• Design complex, realistic business tasks and scenarios for PowerPoint, Excel, and Word that reflect executive reporting, presentations, proposals, and analysis workflows.
• Collaborate with an LLM to discuss, edit, and create Office Open XML files, with emphasis on producing and refining .pptx presentation materials.
• Compare two model-generated deliverables for each turn and select the stronger result based on clarity, accuracy, format, and business appropriateness.
• Participate in structured four-turn exchanges documenting feedback, preferences, observations, and recommendations to improve model outputs.
• Build prompts and scenarios that normally require substantial business judgment and multi-hour effort without AI assistance.
• Support cross-functional use cases such as reporting, presenting, analyzing, and proposing across business settings.

Requirements

We welcome applicants at entry level who can demonstrate the skills below. Preserve the quality of professional deliverables and provide clear, actionable feedback to help models improve.

• Advanced PowerPoint skills focused on business presentations (design, slide structure, templates, visuals).
• Strong Excel and Word experience within professional document workflows.
• Ability to design realistic business scenarios and workflows for executive presentations and reporting.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for concise, actionable feedback.
• Comfort using LLMs or AI-powered tools; prior experience with LLMs is highly desirable.
• Relevant backgrounds (finance, consulting, tech, healthcare, retail, strategy, operations, sales, marketing, HR) are a strong fit but not required.

How it works & how to apply

You will receive structured tasks, produce or edit Office Open XML deliverables in collaboration with an LLM, and submit evaluations choosing the stronger of two model responses. Each task typically involves a four-turn exchange capturing improvements and rationale.
