The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Portuguese Creative Writer for a remote contract role focused on LLM chatbot training. You will generate authentic, culturally relevant responses to prompts and refine AI-generated text so that it is accurate, engaging, and natural.

The role requires strong written Portuguese, excellent grammar, and an understanding of Portuguese dialects and regional nuances. Your work will help conversational AI interact more realistically across settings where Portuguese is essential.

What You'll Do

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

Candidates should have a strong command of written Portuguese and the ability to edit and proofread content meticulously. More than five years of creative writing or Portuguese content-creation experience is preferred, though substantial writing experience in Portuguese may also be considered.

Previous writing experience for AI or data-labeling platforms is highly preferred, particularly work involving writing responses to prompts or questions. Experience limited to rating or evaluating responses is less directly relevant. A portfolio of published Portuguese work is also preferred but not required.

Experience with chatbot tools such as ChatGPT is an advantage, but it is not essential. Applicants should also be prepared to discuss their highest level of education during the interview.
