The Role
OpenTrain is seeking highly skilled Physics Experts, researchers, PhD holders, postdocs, and experienced professionals for advanced research-focused projects. Opportunities are available across multiple physics specializations.
Depending on your expertise and project needs, you may contribute as a Solver, Auditor, or Adjudicator. The expected project duration is 3 to 6 months.

What You'll Do
You will work independently on complex research-level tasks within your area of physics expertise. Your work may involve developing solutions, evaluating scientific reasoning, and communicating technical findings clearly.
Solve and analyze advanced research-level physics problems
Develop, review, and validate theoretical, mathematical, analytical, or numerical solutions
Apply relevant research methods and specialized physics knowledge
Review scientific solutions and provide detailed technical feedback
Document methodologies, calculations, assumptions, and findings clearly
Contribute domain expertise to research benchmarks and AI training projects
Participate as a Solver, Auditor, or Adjudicator, depending on your expertise
Qualifications
This opportunity is designed for experts with substantial physics knowledge and research experience. Candidates do not need previous experience working in AI training or data labeling.
PhD, postdoctoral experience, advanced degree, or equivalent research experience in Physics or a related field
Strong expertise in at least one relevant physics specialization
Experience with advanced theoretical, computational, analytical, or experimental physics methods
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently on complex research-level tasks
Excellent written and verbal scientific communication skills
Fluent English proficiency
