The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a pharma commercial forecasting expert to support human evaluation for AI systems working with commercial drugs and drug-development programs. The work centers on creating and critiquing evaluation rubrics, reviewing launch curves, and determining whether forecast assumptions are well supported.
You will apply consistent commercial judgment across a pilot set of drug launches and clearly explain the reasoning behind your evaluations.

What You'll Do
You will review the commercial logic behind pharmaceutical forecasts and help define the standards AI systems should meet. Your feedback will support more reliable evaluation of launch and market analysis.
Create and critique rubrics for commercial drugs and drug-development programs
Build or review launch curves covering uptake, peak share, and trajectory
Evaluate whether forecast analogs and ramp assumptions are defensible
Assess peak assumptions and loss-of-exclusivity assumptions
Provide expert feedback that improves AI evaluation of pharmaceutical analysis
Required Qualifications
This opportunity requires substantial professional experience in pharmaceutical commercial forecasting, analytics, or strategy. You should be able to build or critique drug launch and uptake models and explain commercial reasoning clearly.
At least five years of relevant pharmaceutical commercial experience
Professional experience in pharma commercial forecasting, analytics, or strategy
Experience building or critiquing drug launch or uptake models
Familiarity with biotech and pharmaceutical development programs
Ability to assess forecast assumptions and communicate commercial judgment clearly
Ability to judge analog selection, ramp, peak share, trajectory, and loss-of-exclusivity assumptions
Helpful Background
Experience on a pharmaceutical sales team may also be relevant when paired with strong familiarity with commercial drug launches and forecasting judgment. The key qualification is the ability to evaluate launch assumptions using practical pharmaceutical market expertise.
