About this role
OpenTrain is recruiting for a Personalized AI Response Evaluator to assess how well AI systems use connected application context to produce relevant, accurate, helpful, and appropriately personalized responses. You will work with personalized prompts and account activity from common productivity and consumer applications, compare alternative responses, identify unsupported assumptions or irrelevant recommendations, and provide structured feedback for model improvement.

What you will do
Evaluate AI-generated responses using professional email history and business account activity. Judge relevance, accuracy, helpfulness, personalization quality, and overall user experience. Compare multiple responses and determine which provides the stronger result. Identify subtle inconsistencies, incorrect personalization, unsupported assumptions, and irrelevant recommendations. Follow evaluation guidelines to deliver consistent and well-reasoned ratings. Maintain confidentiality and protect personal information throughout the work.

Required skills
Strong analytical thinking is required for evaluating nuanced AI responses. You should have careful attention to detail when reviewing generated content and excellent written communication skills for providing clear, structured feedback. Active use of common productivity or consumer applications with sufficient account history is required, along with the ability to work independently using a reliable desktop or laptop and internet connection. You must be willing to connect required applications and provide project permissions in accordance with applicable project requirements.

Helpful background
A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field is required. Previous experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or another analytical role is helpful, but it is not required.

Working arrangement
This is a remote contractor engagement for candidates currently based in Canada. The role requires at least 4 hours per day, up to 40 hours per week, and 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Time. The engagement may last up to 16 weeks.
