The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking a Nutrition Data Evaluation Expert to improve AI systems that work with nutrition, dietary habits, and healthy eating information. What You'll Do
You will work with varied dietary contexts and cuisines, using annotation tools and structured information to assess food and nutrition data. Your work will support consistent, high-quality datasets and help identify issues that could affect the performance or safety of nutrition-focused AI systems.
Annotate food items, portion sizes, meal composition, and nutrient content from text, images, or logs
Classify dietary patterns, including macronutrient balance, meal timing, restrictions, and preferences
Verify nutritional information against trusted food composition databases and other reliable references
Identify mislabeled or culturally ambiguous food entries
Flag inconsistencies for correction
Apply and help refine annotation guidelines for diverse cuisines
Maintain consistency and quality benchmarks across large annotation batches

Requirements
You should have a professional or academic background in nutrition, dietetics, food science, or a related discipline. The role requires careful judgment when evaluating nutrition information, estimating portions, categorizing foods, and recognizing dietary differences across cultures and cuisines.
