The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Music Production AI Evaluation Expert who can assess AI-generated music in Russian and English. You will compare songs, classify musical characteristics, and judge output quality against detailed standards.

The work requires careful evaluation of musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, accuracy, and production or mix quality. You should be comfortable communicating nuanced audio judgments clearly through structured task work.

What You'll Do

You will evaluate AI-generated songs, lyrics, and vocals using consistent quality standards. Assignments will involve both comparative judgments and musical classification.

• Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head for musicality and creativity
• Assess adherence to prompts and reference material
• Evaluate vocal quality, accuracy, and production or mix quality
• Classify songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material
• Apply detailed evaluation standards consistently
• Communicate judgments clearly through structured tasks

Requirements

This opportunity is intended for experienced music professionals with strong critical listening skills and familiarity with contemporary Russian music. Although the supplied experience level is listed as entry level, the role specifically requires at least two years of relevant professional experience.

• At least two years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer
• Native or near-native proficiency in Russian
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
• Access to headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening
