The role

As a Multilingual AI Data Analyst on OpenTrain AI you’ll review, label, classify, and validate text-based data to help fine-tune and evaluate large language models. You will use analytical judgment to answer prompts, create scenarios, flag edge cases, and explain correct outcomes.

This is a contractor, part-time engagement focused on text data with classification and evaluation/rating tasks. The project emphasizes independent delivery, productivity, accuracy, and clear feedback.

What you'll do

• Review, label, classify, and validate task data according to project guidelines.
• Answer analytical prompts and craft scenarios that help train and evaluate large language models.
• Identify edge cases, annotation discrepancies, and ambiguous inputs; escalate or document issues clearly.
• Perform quality checks and provide concise, constructive feedback to improve annotations.
• Work independently to meet productivity and quality targets in a remote setting.

• Fluent written communication in English and Spanish (required).

Helpful background

You don’t need to be an AI expert to apply. Candidates with experience as business analysts, research analysts, copywriters, journalists, technical writers, editors, translators, or related fields are a great fit.

Familiarity with data interpretation, lateral thinking, and basic arithmetic is useful for reasoning through ambiguous or complex cases.

Schedule, duration, and pay

This is a short-term engagement: 1 week with a focused workload. The listing indicates 20+ hours/week as the general time requirement; this specific assignment runs full-time for the week (40 hours) with about 4 hours of overlap required in America/Los_Angeles time.

Compensation is based on experience and expertise. The role offers flexible remote hours and may be extended based on performance and project needs.
