The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Medical Communications AI Evaluation Expert to improve AI-assisted tools for medical communications and healthcare provider engagement. You will author and review realistic evaluation tasks, assess generated medical content, and judge whether written and visual messaging is scientifically accurate, appropriately balanced, compliant, and suitable for healthcare professionals and patient audiences.

This contractor role requires at least 20 hours per week and pays $50 to $80 per hour. The work is conducted in English and is available in the listed eligible countries.

What You'll Do

You will evaluate both textual and visual medical communications content, providing detailed, structured feedback that helps establish reliable quality standards and evaluation frameworks.

• Create and review evaluation tasks based on medical education modules, advisory board summaries, scientific slide decks, HCP materials, and digital medical content
• Assess AI-generated communications for scientific accuracy, regulatory and compliance alignment, fair balance, audience fit, clarity, tone, and strategic messaging
• Review visual presentation logic and confirm that complex scientific concepts are communicated accurately without oversimplification
• Trace claims, infographics, and slide statements to scientific literature, trial data, and clinical summaries
• Explain model strengths and deficiencies through detailed written feedback
• Help establish benchmarks, quality rubrics, and evaluation frameworks for medical communications content

Required Qualifications

This opportunity is best suited to an experienced medical communications, medical education, or medical affairs professional. The listing requires five or more years of relevant experience and direct experience producing scientific or educational content.

• Five or more years of experience in medical communications, medical education, or medical affairs
• Direct experience creating scientific slide decks, advisory board summaries, medical education modules, or digital and web content
• Strong understanding of medical affairs strategy, scientific platform alignment, and regulatory constraints for HCP and patient communications
• Ability to evaluate visual and textual content for data integrity and audience engagement
• Excellent written communication, structured critique, and editorial guidance skills
• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine, or equivalent professional industry experience
