Use your MATLAB experience to capture high-resolution screenshots of scientific computing workflows on a Windows PC. This remote contract offers $45-$55 per hour and requires at least 20 hours weekly.
About OpenTrain
OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help contributors discover specialized projects, build a credible profile, and apply for work that matches their technical experience.
Creating an OpenTrain account is free, and this role is offered as remote contract work through OpenTrain AI.
About AI Training and Data Collection
AI training depends on carefully prepared examples and reviewed data. Data collection contributors help create the visual, audio, text, and other materials that enable modern AI systems to learn from real-world workflows.
This project focuses on specialized technical screenshots, giving contributors the opportunity to support AI development with authentic MATLAB scientific computing content.
The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a MATLAB Scientific Computing Screenshot Contributor to support structured data collection involving a specialized technical application. You will use MATLAB on a Windows PC and capture high-resolution screenshots showing the application in use.
The work centers on numerical computing, simulation, signal processing, and image processing workflows. This is remote contract work with a rate of $45 to $55 per hour.
- Contractor and part-time engagement
- Remote work
- Advertised rate: $45-$55 per hour
- Minimum time requirement: 20+ hours per week
- Default project commitment: 40 hours per week
- English-language project
What You'll Do
You will operate MATLAB on your own Windows computer and produce screenshots that meet the project's technical resolution requirements. Screenshots should clearly represent MATLAB workflows used in scientific computing and engineering applications.
- Access MATLAB on your own Windows PC.
- Open MATLAB immediately and work with relevant scientific computing workflows.
- Capture screenshots with more than 2.5 megapixels.
- Use a qualifying high-resolution display or two 1920x1080-or-higher monitors captured as one spanning image.
- Represent numerical computing, simulation, signal processing, or image processing workflows accurately.
Requirements
This role requires practical MATLAB experience and access to the necessary equipment and software. Contributors must be able to meet the screenshot resolution threshold using an appropriate display setup.
- Hands-on, real-world experience with MATLAB.
- Familiarity with scientific computing workflows.
- Understanding of numerical computing, simulation, signal processing, or image processing.
- Access to MATLAB on a Windows PC and the ability to open it immediately.
