The Role
OpenTrain is hiring a Marketing Strategy AI Trainer to create, evaluate, and refine complex marketing tasks used to improve AI-generated strategic recommendations. You will bring experienced marketing judgment to work involving positioning, segmentation, campaign planning, channel optimization, performance analysis, and budget allocation.
The role combines senior-level marketing expertise with structured AI training, quality review, and rubric-based refinement across different markets and customer segments. The engagement is remote contractor work for candidates in the United States, may last up to nine weeks, and offers at least 20 hours per week.
Engagement type: Part-time contractor
Location: United States
Schedule: At least 4 hours per day, up to 40 hours per week

What You'll Do
You will produce expert marketing tasks and solutions that meet an established quality standard. Your work will help assess whether AI-generated recommendations are accurate, commercially relevant, and informed by appropriate data and marketing judgment.
Develop and evaluate work covering brand positioning, messaging, customer segmentation, and go-to-market planning.
Apply practical judgment to campaign strategy, channel selection, experimentation, performance attribution, and resource allocation.
Create tasks and solutions involving digital advertising, paid media, email or lifecycle marketing, social media, content, partnerships, and offline channels.
Incorporate calibration feedback and iterate on your work.
Use rubric standards to review quality, accuracy, commercial relevance, and data-informed reasoning.
Required Qualifications
You should have 3 to 15 years of professional experience in brand, product, growth, or integrated marketing, along with demonstrated leadership capabilities and strategic ownership. A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Ability to develop positioning, messaging, customer segmentation, and go-to-market strategies.
Experience planning, launching, and managing integrated programs across multiple marketing channels.
Strong campaign analytics skills, including experimentation, customer insight analysis, performance tracking, and attribution-based ROI measurement.
Experience managing marketing budgets, timelines, resources, and cross-functional workflows.
Professional fluency in English.
Helpful Background
Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role can help you adapt to structured model-feedback work, but it is not required. The most important foundation is the ability to make thoughtful, commercially grounded marketing decisions and explain them against clear quality standards.
