The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Management Consulting AI Training Expert to improve next-generation AI systems through realistic consulting workflows and high-quality professional judgment. You will shape task examples, polished deliverables, evaluation standards, and feedback that teach models to reason clearly, communicate with executives, and produce actionable recommendations.

This is a US-based, part-time contractor opportunity requiring 20 or more hours per week. Compensation is $100–$200 per hour, and work is conducted in English.

What You'll Do

You will apply consulting craft directly to AI model training and quality evaluation. Your work will focus on producing and assessing professional documents that meet high standards for structure, reasoning, clarity, and executive readiness.

• Design consulting-style tasks based on case team analyses, client communications, and board-level readouts.
• Produce exemplary client-facing decks, executive summaries, strategy memos, and structured recommendation documents.
• Develop gold-standard examples demonstrating clear structure, cohesive reasoning, and executive readiness.
• Assess model-generated consulting content against MECE, the pyramid principle, issue trees, clarity of reasoning, and actionability.
• Build rubrics that distinguish preliminary drafts from polished, boardroom-ready work.
• Identify communication problems such as unclear key messages, verbosity, and weakened structural integrity.
• Refine deliverables as requirements evolve and provide actionable feedback on consulting outputs.

Required Qualifications

You should have at least three years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm or in a comparable consulting environment, with a record of producing client-ready materials and strategic recommendations.

• At least three years of top-tier or comparable consulting experience.
• Experience producing client-ready decks, concise executive documents, and strategic recommendations.
• Proficiency with MECE, the pyramid principle, issue trees, and other structured problem-solving methods.
• Exceptional written English and strong executive communication skills.
• Careful attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
• Experience evaluating consulting deliverables, applying quality rubrics, and providing specific, actionable feedback.

Helpful Background

A master's degree is preferred, and an MBA is especially valued. Experience evaluating consultancy outputs and turning observations into actionable feedback will also be useful.
