You will help improve AI systems by writing difficult questions about machine learning and reviewing the answers they produce. Your reviews will focus on whether each answer is accurate, logically consistent, and technically well supported.
- Create questions based on machine learning theory and applied mathematics.
- Review AI-generated answers for technical accuracy, logical consistency, and sound reasoning.
- Evaluate work involving optimization, generalization, model architectures, probabilistic modeling, and statistical inference.
- Write clear feedback to help improve AI systems' understanding of machine learning and technical problem-solving.
- Contribute asynchronously during active project periods.
What it pays and takes
This is an ongoing, project-based contract role that can fit alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral work, or industry employment. Prior AI evaluation or technical evaluation experience is not required.
- Pay: Up to $75 per hour.
- Work arrangement: Fully remote, flexible, and asynchronous.
- Typical participation: About 5 to 20 hours per week during active project periods, with no minimum hour requirement.
- Location: United States.
- Language: English.
- Education: Doctoral study, postdoctoral work, or graduate-level completion in machine learning or a closely related field.
- Knowledge: Machine learning theory, algorithmic analysis, applied mathematics, optimization, probabilistic modeling, and statistical inference.
- Helpful backgrounds: Statistics, computer science, artificial intelligence, model behavior, statistical learning, or machine learning algorithms.

About AI training work
AI training work is the human side of building artificial intelligence. People write examples, review model answers, and give feedback so AI systems learn to be more accurate and useful; specialized knowledge matters because strong reviewers can judge difficult technical content.
