The Role

OpenTrain AI is recruiting an LLM Browsing Training Project Manager to help operate training projects involving large language models. You will monitor project and annotator performance, review work quality, coordinate contributor communications, and take ownership of unfamiliar operational problems from investigation through resolution.

This is a remote hourly contractor role. The project has a default commitment of 40 hours per week, with a stated time requirement of 20 or more hours per week.

What You'll Do

You will help keep LLM browsing training projects organized, measurable, and on track. The work combines project coordination, spreadsheet-based analysis, contributor communication, and independent operational problem-solving.

• Track project and annotator performance in Google Sheets
• Review annotator quality and identify issues that may affect project outcomes
• Analyze performance and quality information to support sound decisions
• Coordinate communications with contributors
• Keep project work organized and moving forward
• Investigate unfamiliar operational problems and own them through completion
• Support the successful execution of LLM browsing training projects

Requirements

This role calls for strong organization, analytical thinking, reliable attention to operational detail, and the ability to work independently. You should be comfortable interpreting project information, communicating clearly with contributors, and using judgment when issues arise.

• Experience managing operations or projects involving multiple contributors
• Ability to analyze project and annotator performance data in Google Sheets

Helpful Background

Experience in operations or project management is preferred. Experience tracking team or project performance with spreadsheets such as Google Sheets is helpful.
