The Role

OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Legal Contract Review Evaluator to assess AI-generated work products used in an AI training and quality evaluation workflow. You will review legal documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks through the lens of contracts, diligence, and redlines, determining whether outputs are accurate, complete, rigorous, and professionally presented.

This is a remote engagement for an individual professional contributing specialized legal judgment to AI-generated work-product evaluation. The role requires at least 20 hours per week and pays $80 to $120 per hour.

What You'll Do

Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks against domain-specific quality rubrics. Apply practical knowledge of legal contracts, diligence, and redlines when assessing the quality and rigor of outputs.

Identify factual errors, presentation issues, and aesthetic problems that could reduce an artifact's usefulness. Provide clear, structured written feedback that explains the issues you find and supports consistent quality decisions.

Requirements

Applicants should bring substantial professional experience in legal contracts, diligence, or redlines, along with the ability to assess the accuracy and rigor of AI-generated legal work products. Strong written communication and careful judgment are essential because the work combines subject-matter review with evaluation of factual and presentation quality.

• Five or more years of relevant professional experience in legal contracts, diligence, or redlines.
• Ability to assess the accuracy and rigor of AI-generated legal work products.
• Judgment in identifying factual, aesthetic, and presentation errors.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Especially strong proficiency with Google Slides or PowerPoint.
