  • Remote contractor opportunity
  • Part-time schedule of 20+ hours per week
  • Hourly pay of $40-$100 USD
  • Intermediate experience level

About AI Training Work

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Experts review model outputs, compare responses, identify errors, and provide high-quality examples and feedback that help AI systems become more accurate, useful, and reliable.

  • Work directly with cutting-edge generative AI systems
  • Apply professional judgment to improve model reasoning and written outputs
  • Build experience in a fast-growing technical field
  • Work remotely with flexible contractor workflows

The Role

As a Contract Review Expert, you will review AI-generated contract analyses and drafting outputs. You will assess the quality of legal reasoning, identify weaknesses in clause interpretation and risk analysis, and provide precise written feedback that improves the model's practical usefulness.

The work includes evaluating and comparing multiple responses for accuracy, clarity, completeness, defensibility, and business relevance. You may also draft explanations, redlines, negotiation notes, clause rewrites, and playbook guidance.

  • Review AI-generated contract analyses and drafting outputs
  • Assess liability caps, indemnities, warranties, termination rights, payment risk, and intellectual property issues
  • Evaluate privacy, security, confidentiality, data processing, breach notification, and audit provisions
  • Identify ambiguity, missing terms, enforceability concerns, and problematic risk allocation

What You'll Do

Your work will combine contract review, legal quality assurance, and structured feedback. You will help distinguish legally sound and commercially practical analysis from responses that are incomplete, misleading, or overly certain.

  • Fact-check legal concepts and citations when needed
  • Write clear explanations of contract issues and reasoning errors
  • Create negotiation notes, clause rewrites, redlines, and playbook guidance
  • Rate and compare model responses for correctness and reasoning quality
  • Test outputs for misleading certainty, confidentiality risks, and bias
  • Review and redline commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, and SaaS agreements

Requirements

You should have substantial professional experience reviewing contracts and explaining legal or commercial risk. The role requires strong attention to detail, clear written legal communication, and the ability to apply consistent standards while working remotely.

  • JD, LLB, or equivalent qualification, or paralegal or contracts experience with substantial contract review work
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in contracts, legal operations, procurement, vendor management, or a related field
  • Strong ability to analyze liability, indemnity, intellectual property, termination, warranty, and payment provisions
  • Experience reviewing and redlining MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, and SaaS agreements
  • Comfort assessing privacy and security clauses, confidentiality, data processing, breach notification, and audit rights
  • Minimum C1 English proficiency and strong written legal explanation skills
  • Ability to assess AI-generated contract summaries and detect reasoning errors

Helpful Background

The following experience is strongly preferred or helpful for success in this role. You should be comfortable translating legal risk into practical business guidance and maintaining consistent quality in an hourly contractor workflow.

  • Prior AI data training, legal QA, knowledge management, or template library maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools and version control
  • Experience translating legal risk into practical business guidance
  • Ability to deliver consistent quality across time zones
