OpenTrain is seeking a Legal AI Task Evaluation Lead to guide Pod Leaders who develop, evaluate, and refine high-difficulty tasks related to legal work. You will combine advanced legal judgment with quality leadership across expert-level task generation and evaluation.
The engagement lasts six weeks, with potential for extension. It is a remote contract role aligned with the PST timezone and requires 20 or more hours per week. Compensation is not disclosed.
You will help establish consistent standards for complex legal AI training work while supporting the people responsible for developing and evaluating those tasks. The role requires careful review, clear communication, and sound judgment when determining whether work meets professional expectations.
This position is intended for an experienced legal professional with substantial practice experience and an active qualification. You should be comfortable evaluating complex legal reasoning and communicating clear, defensible quality judgments.
