About AI Response Evaluation

The Role

OpenTrain AI is hiring Kotlin AI Response Evaluators for remote hourly work. You will review AI-generated Kotlin responses, judge their correctness and reasoning quality, and produce expert-level explanations and model solutions.

The work covers Kotlin, Android development, backend engineering, coroutines, null safety, Ktor, Android Jetpack, software architecture, and LLM-assisted coding. You will assess responses for accuracy, clarity, prompt adherence, and technical soundness while helping strengthen AI performance through high-quality feedback.

• Time requirement: 20+ hours per week
• Compensation: Up to $55 per hour

What You’ll Do

You will evaluate generated coding content and create technically strong examples that demonstrate correct Kotlin approaches. The work requires careful fact-checking, clear written explanations, and the ability to distinguish between competing solutions.

• Review AI-generated Kotlin responses for correctness, reasoning quality, and prompt adherence
• Write expert-level Kotlin explanations and model solutions
• Fact-check technical claims and identify methodological or conceptual errors
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses for accuracy, clarity, and problem-solving quality
• Create prompts and responses that improve AI learning across Kotlin and software engineering topics
• Test AI models for inaccuracies, bias, and reliability across use cases

Required Qualifications

This role requires hands-on Kotlin development experience and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly in English. You should be comfortable reviewing code for correctness, evaluating idiomatic style, and weighing software architecture trade-offs.

• At least 2 years of hands-on Kotlin development experience
• Strong understanding of Kotlin null safety, coroutines, and functional idioms
• Professional Kotlin software engineering experience in Android or backend services
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
• Ability to evaluate idiomatic Kotlin style, design decisions, and architecture trade-offs
• Excellent English writing skills
• Experience using LLMs for coding, debugging, or code review
