About AI training work

AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback) is the human side of building modern models: people read, annotate, verify, and rate examples so models learn correct behavior. This work is largely remote, often flexible, and a strong way to get hands-on experience with how state-of-the-art systems are developed.

This role focuses on multilingual content and model evaluation—you will break long text into logical chunks, check claims with online research, and write clear answers and explanations that improve model outputs.

The role

You will be an AI content analyst working primarily with Korean and English text. Tasks include summarization, online verification, analytic reasoning, creating evaluation scenarios, and writing correct answers with thorough explanations to train and evaluate models.

This is a contractor, part-time role. Work is remote and worldwide; the typical commitment is 20+ hours per week with the ability to be productive up to 40 hours per week when available. The position is entry level—no prior annotation experience is required if you meet the language and reasoning expectations.

• Data type: text (long-form content, multilingual passages).
• Labeling tasks include: evaluation/rating, RLHF-style feedback, text summarization, and question answering.

What you'll do day-to-day

Your everyday contributions will directly improve model behavior by creating high-quality human examples and judgments.

• Read long-form Korean and English content and break it into concise, logical blocks.
• Summarize passages accurately and consistently across languages.
• Perform online verification and cite evidence when checking claims.
• Solve analytical and reasoning puzzles used to train model thinking.
• Write correct answers and step-by-step explanations to guide model learning.
• Provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations for model evaluation.

Requirements

Preserve accuracy and clarity in both Korean and English, and consistently document your reasoning and evidence.

• Fluent comprehension of Korean and strong English reading/writing skills (ko + en required).
• Comfort with online research and judgment about source credibility.
• Good analytical and lateral thinking skills for reasoning tasks and puzzles.
• Clear written communication and ability to collaborate in a remote setting.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently for 20+ hours per week (up to 40 hours/week when needed).

Helpful background

The role welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds who bring strong writing, research, or analytical experience.

• Professional experience in analysis, journalism, editing, translation, or technical writing is helpful but not required.
• Familiarity with Excel and Google Workspace is a plus.
• Backgrounds in literature, communications, engineering, arts, statistics, or related fields can be advantageous.
• Comfort with basic arithmetic, data interpretation, and logical reasoning.
