Java Developer for AI Training and Code Evaluation

Help train and evaluate AI systems by preparing Java examples, building and correcting solutions, and assessing code produced by AI.

• Review code for quality, efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with Java and other languages, including Python, JavaScript with ReactJS, C/C++, Rust, and Go.
• Build verification agents to identify error patterns and assess code quality.
• Design automated ways to check solutions to software engineering tasks.
• Evaluate model performance across architecture, API design, production implementation, monitoring, and operational maintenance.
• Write clear, structured reasons for your technical evaluations.

What it pays and takes

• Hours: At least 20 hours per week.
• Engagement: Flexible, part-time contractor work for an initial one-month period, with possible extensions based on performance and fit.
• Location: Open to candidates in Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United States.
• Language: Fluent in English.
• Experience: At least three years of software engineering experience.
• Skills: Strong full-stack development experience building scalable, production-grade software; deep knowledge of architecture, design, development, debugging, and code review; primary proficiency in Java; and experience with Python, JavaScript, C/C++, Rust, or Go.
