The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking a Japanese Legal AI Response Reviewer to evaluate AI-generated answers to real questions of Japanese law. The work focuses especially on commercial and contract matters and is intended for experienced in-house legal counsel practicing in Japan.
You will compare answers produced by two AI language-model platforms, assess each response using a standardized evaluation rubric, and write concise feedback explaining your judgment. The work requires confidentiality and participation under a non-disclosure agreement.

What You'll Do

Requirements
This project requires substantial professional legal experience in Japan. You should be comfortable reviewing legal analysis, contracts, and written legal responses, then applying explicit quality standards consistently and independently.
At least five years of experience as in-house legal counsel practicing in Japan
Strong knowledge of Japanese law
Substantive experience with commercial and contract matters
Precise written communication in Japanese
Ability to compare AI-generated legal answers against a standardized rubric
