The Role
OpenTrain is seeking an entry-level Japanese Language AI Training Analyst for a remote contractor project focused on improving large language models. You will analyze Japanese-language content, answer analytical questions, and create training scenarios that challenge and strengthen model performance.
This is an independent, remote contractor role for someone who can work reliably with English and Japanese content, contribute detailed annotations, and collaborate with a project team on quality standards.

What You'll Do
You will break down language content, investigate claims, and apply clear reasoning to questions designed to assess and improve AI performance. The work combines Japanese-language analysis with creative thinking and careful evaluation.
Review Japanese-language content and divide it into smaller logical blocks.
Conduct online research to validate claims and support reliable analysis.
Answer a variety of analytical questions about the content.

Requirements
This role is suited to a self-directed communicator with strong English and Japanese fluency, analytical judgment, and the ability to explain feedback in detail. Previous AI-training experience is helpful but not required beyond the listed skills and experience.
