The Insta360 X5 POV Video Collection Project

OpenTrain is seeking contributors who own or can access an Insta360 X5 camera and can record normal day-to-day or workplace activities. You will use a suitable head mount to capture footage from your own perspective in a real home or workspace environment.

The project is expected to run for one to three months. It is a contractor opportunity with a fixed project payment of $200 USD.

What You’ll Do

You will record clear, first-person footage while completing ordinary activities. Follow the supplied instructions carefully and ensure that your hands and the objects involved remain visible whenever possible.

• Record POV video using an Insta360 X5 camera
• Wear a suitable head mount for first-person recording
• Perform normal residential or workplace activities
• Keep your hands and relevant objects visible in the footage
• Upload raw, unedited video
• Follow all provided recording guidelines
• Possible activities include cooking, cleaning, organizing, desk work, errands, warehouse picking, material handling, commercial cleaning, hospitality, and landscaping

Requirements

This project is designed for reliable, detail-oriented contributors who can follow recording directions and work in a real home or workspace. No previous technical experience is required, and onboarding and instructions will be provided.
