The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking Immigration Attorneys from BigLaw firms to contribute to a technology-driven AI training project. You will review and assess legal documents, scenarios, and AI-generated outputs related to U.S. immigration law, helping ensure that model responses are accurate, compliant, practical, and well supported.

This contractor role is designed for experienced legal professionals who can combine advanced immigration law knowledge with careful analysis, strong communication, and comfort using legal technology.

What You’ll Do

Your work will focus on evaluation rating, text generation, and question answering tasks. You will provide clear, actionable feedback that helps refine AI-generated legal content and improves the quality of model training data.

  • Review, analyze, and provide feedback on immigration law documents and legal scenarios for accuracy and compliance.
  • Draft, edit, and evaluate legal content, including memos, briefs, and case documentation.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using industry-standard tools and databases.
  • Use case management software to simulate and assess technology-enabled workflows.
  • Evaluate AI-generated legal outputs and deliver practical, actionable feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to protect the integrity and practical applicability of legal data.
  • Contribute BigLaw practice insights to improve the depth and relevance of project deliverables.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

Applicants should have substantial experience handling complex immigration matters and advising clients in a BigLaw environment. The role requires an active license to practice law and demonstrated expertise in U.S. immigration law.
