OpenTrain AI is the hiring and contracting organization for this role and the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. OpenTrain connects contributors with practical projects that help shape how modern AI systems understand images, video, language, and more.
AI image models learn from visual examples that people label, review, and correct. Quality control specialists help ensure that training data accurately represents the objects and conditions shown in each image, improving the reliability of computer vision systems.
OpenTrain AI is seeking an Image Annotation Quality Control Specialist for a dataset of approximately 8,000 frames extracted from footage taken in refineries. Most frames were auto-annotated, and the model performs consistently on clear frames. Your work will focus on identifying annotations that need correction and adding annotations where they are missing.
This is an intermediate-level, part-time contractor engagement requiring 20 or more hours per week. The project is open worldwide and offers a fixed payment of $1,200.
You will review refinery footage frames in CVAT and assess whether auto-generated labels accurately represent the visual content. When labels are incorrect, you will correct them; when required annotations are absent, you will add them.
This role is suited to an intermediate contributor with prior experience reviewing and correcting auto-annotations. Strong attention to detail is essential because the quality of each annotation affects the usefulness of the resulting AI training data.
Human reviewers are a critical part of building dependable AI. By checking and improving visual labels, you help create cleaner training data for computer vision systems while gaining hands-on experience in a rapidly growing area of technology.
Create a free OpenTrain account and apply through the platform. Review the project details carefully, confirm that you can meet the 20+ hour weekly commitment, and highlight your experience with auto-annotation review and correction.
