OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. OpenTrain AI is hiring and contracting specialists for work that helps develop more capable AI systems, with opportunities to build a lasting professional portfolio in a fast-growing field.
Creating an OpenTrain account is free, and candidates can apply in minutes while presenting their specialized experience in one place.
AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Subject-matter experts help models improve by creating difficult examples, solving technical problems, evaluating responses, and identifying where an AI system's reasoning is inaccurate or incomplete.
In this role, your high-energy and mathematical physics expertise will support the evaluation of advanced model outputs. No prior AI experience is necessary when you have the required domain knowledge.
OpenTrain AI is seeking a High Energy and Mathematical Physics AI Problem Reviewer to assess AI reasoning on research-level material in holography, AdS/CFT, and Weyl anomalies. Depending on the assignment, you may solve problems, audit proposed solutions, or adjudicate competing answers according to your subfield expertise and hands-on experience.
The experience classification for this opportunity is entry level, but advanced expertise in high energy physics or mathematical physics is required for the work.
You will analyze technically demanding mathematical physics tasks and communicate your reasoning clearly in written and verbal formats. The work focuses on the accuracy, rigor, and validity of solutions involving holographic dualities and higher-dimensional geometry.
This opportunity requires direct, advanced experience with the theoretical physics concepts at the center of the work. Candidates should be comfortable assessing research-level arguments, checking mathematical expressions, and explaining complex conclusions precisely.
Research methods and tools that support symbolic or mathematical problem solving may be useful in this engagement. These are relevant supporting capabilities rather than replacements for the required theoretical physics expertise.
This is a part-time contractor engagement expected to require less than 20 hours per week, specifically approximately 10 hours weekly, for 8 to 10 weeks. The advertised hourly rate is $80 to $160 USD.
Apply through OpenTrain to be considered for this remote AI problem review opportunity. Your work will help assess how accurately AI systems reason about advanced mathematical physics.
