OpenTrain is the #1 platform for people building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help specialists find and grow AI-training work, build a unified portfolio, and take on flexible projects that influence how modern AI models behave. OpenTrain AI is the hiring and contracting organization for every role.
Why AI training matters
AI training is the human side of building intelligent systems: experts review, rate, and refine model outputs so AI behaves more accurately and responsibly. This work is often fully remote, flexible, and accessible to people who bring real-world domain knowledge rather than formal software engineering experience.
The role
You will evaluate AI-generated healthcare and clinical materials — documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks — against domain-specific rubrics. Your judgments will identify factual, structural, and presentation issues and include concise, actionable written feedback that helps improve model outputs and downstream deliverables.
What you'll do
Evaluate AI-generated clinical and healthcare materials using provided quality rubrics.
Review documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for factual accuracy, rigor, structure, and presentation quality.
Identify errors in clinical reasoning, data interpretation, citation or sourcing, and visual layout.
Write clear, structured feedback and justification for each evaluation to support model and content improvement.
Apply subject-matter expertise to resolve borderline cases and ensure consistency with rubric standards.
Requirements
This is an expert-level contractor role. Candidates must meet all core requirements below.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in healthcare or clinical practice.
Native or professional fluency in English with strong written feedback skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially Google Slides and PowerPoint.
Comfort applying clinical subject-matter expertise to judge the accuracy and rigor of professional written or slide-based work.
Ability to work 20+ hours per week as a contractor.
Helpful background (preferred)
Advanced degree (master's or higher) from a reputable institution is a strong plus.
Prior experience evaluating or reviewing clinical documents, presentations, or technical write-ups.
Compensation, format, and logistics
This is a contract, part-time position paid hourly. Pay range: $80–$120 per hour depending on experience and fit. Work is fully remote and open worldwide; language requirement: English.
Employment type: Contractor, Part-time.
Time requirement: 20+ hours per week.
Data type you will evaluate: text (documents, spreadsheets, slide content).
Labeling task type: evaluation/rating against rubrics.
How to apply and next steps
If you meet the requirements, apply with a summary of your clinical experience and examples of reviewing or judging professional written/presentation work. Qualified applicants will undergo a short qualification and calibration exercise to confirm rubric understanding and consistency.
Be prepared to complete a paid qualification test and a sample feedback exercise.
OpenTrain AI will provide rubrics, training materials, and ongoing guidance for evaluations.
