About OpenTrain

OpenTrain AI is the hiring and contracting organization for this remote opportunity. OpenTrain helps people start and grow careers in AI training and data labeling by connecting them with projects where human expertise improves the quality of artificial intelligence.

About Healthcare AI Training

AI training is the human side of building modern artificial intelligence. Professionals review examples, evaluate model outputs, and provide careful judgments so AI systems become more accurate, reliable, and useful in real-world settings.

Healthcare expertise is especially important when AI-generated work includes clinical terminology, administrative workflows, regulations, figures, payer requirements, or documentation standards. Your professional judgment helps distinguish realistic, usable work from subtle errors.

The Role

OpenTrain is seeking healthcare professionals to review AI-generated work products in their own area of practice. You will examine realistic healthcare tasks, the AI agent's completed work, related files, and an evaluator's scorecard.

This is expert quality review rather than task completion or reworking an AI agent's output. You will determine whether the task is authentic, whether the content and requirements are correct, and whether the reported score can be defended by a practicing professional.

  • Remote contract opportunity for professionals located in the United States
  • Pay: $75-$90 per hour
  • Expected commitment: 10 hours per week
  • Each reviewed item takes approximately one hour
  • Work type: part-time contractor opportunity

What You'll Do

You will apply practical healthcare knowledge to assess both the underlying work and the quality of the evaluation. Your written explanations should be concise, specific, and grounded in professional standards and workflows.

  • Assess whether healthcare and administrative tasks reflect realistic work in the field.
  • Check standards, figures, regulations, terminology, and constraints for accuracy and consistency.
  • Review scorecard judgments covering format, fabricated figures, requirements, terminology, and related quality criteria.
  • Explain disagreements with individual grading decisions using concise written reasoning.
  • Assign an independent quality band and compare it with the reported score.
  • Review files and reconcile relevant information in spreadsheets or PDFs.

Requirements

You should have current professional experience in US healthcare and practical familiarity with the standards and workflows of your relevant role. The opportunity is suitable for professionals in nursing, advanced practice, clinical management, clinical office supervision, or medical administration.

Near-native business English is required because the work involves explaining why content or grading decisions are correct or incorrect in concise written responses.

  • Ability to identify subtle errors in healthcare content, documentation, figures, regulations, and payer-related requirements
  • Ability to judge whether clinical or administrative work is realistic and usable in practice
  • Ability to assess grading decisions against task requirements and assign a defensible quality band
  • Comfort reviewing spreadsheets and PDFs and checking whether figures reconcile
  • Near-native business English

Helpful Professional Background

The following experience profiles are especially relevant to this review work:

  • Registered Nurses: At least five years of post-licensure bedside care and an active US license
  • Nurse Practitioners: Board certification and at least three years managing an independent patient panel
  • Medical and Health Services Managers: At least five years owning a clinical budget
  • First-line Clinical Office Supervisors: At least four years supervising patient access, health information management, scheduling, or billing
