OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help people start and grow careers teaching AI by connecting contractors with specialist projects, letting you build a unified portfolio, and managing hiring and contractor workflows.
This role is hired and contracted directly by OpenTrain AI. You will join a remote contractor workforce contributing to the human side of AI: the examples, feedback, and reference answers that modern models learn from.
Why AI Training Work Matters
AI training (data labeling, annotation, and human feedback) is how real-world AI behavior is shaped. Contributors annotate, rate, and rewrite model outputs so systems become more accurate, fluent, and culturally appropriate.
These projects are typically remote and flexible, making them a strong fit for language professionals who want part-time contractor work that directly impacts AI performance in their language.
About This Role
OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Greek-language content review and writing specialist to improve Greek model output across conversational, customer-support, educational, and general-knowledge scenarios.
You will evaluate AI-generated Greek responses, create gold-standard reference answers, rate multiple outputs, detect hallucinations or misleading claims, and write clear rewrites and feedback that preserve intended meaning while improving accuracy, tone, and cultural fit.
What You'll Do
Review AI-generated Greek content for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
Identify mistranslations, register mismatches, ambiguity, and logical inconsistencies.
Create gold-standard Greek answers and model responses across general knowledge, support, education, and conversational prompts.
Compare and rate multiple model outputs on correctness and overall quality (evaluation/rating tasks).
Flag unsafe, biased, misleading, or policy-risk language when it appears.
Write precise feedback and rewrites that improve the response without changing its intended meaning.
Requirements
You must meet all listed requirements; OpenTrain uses these to qualify contractors for project work.
Native or near-native Greek reading and writing ability.
Strong professional English proficiency (minimum C1) for guideline following and written feedback.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, writing, editing, or a related field.
Several years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or similar language-focused work.
Strong command of Greek grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and audience adaptation.
Comfort reviewing formal and informal register, modern Greek usage, and culturally sensitive phrasing.
Ability to spot hallucinations, mistranslations, and unsafe or misleading content.
Helpful / Preferred Experience
Prior experience with AI data training, translation QA, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation is a strong plus.
Experience writing prompts, reference answers, or model-friendly rewrites.
Familiarity with model evaluation workflows and comparing nuanced language choices.
Logistics, Compensation & Schedule
This is a remote contractor, part-time role available to residents of Greece. Expect to commit 20+ hours per week as a typical guideline for active projects.
Compensation is paid hourly at up to $25 USD per hour. Tasks focus on text data (RLHF, evaluation rating, and text generation work). OpenTrain AI will provide project instructions, rubrics, and examples for each assignment.
Location: Contractors must be based in Greece.
Work type: Contractor, part-time; remote.
Typical tasks: text evaluation, rating, and writing gold-standard answers (label types: RLHF, evaluation_rating, text_generation).
