About AI Training Work
AI training is the human side of building modern artificial intelligence. Specialists review examples, assess model responses, write high-quality content, and provide precise feedback that helps AI systems produce more accurate and useful results.
In this role, your Go and backend experience will help improve how AI models understand programming concepts, generate code, explain technical decisions, and respond to development tasks.
- Apply practical software engineering judgment to AI-generated content
- Help shape models used for coding and backend development tasks
- Work remotely with flexible part-time hours
The Role
OpenTrain AI is recruiting intermediate Go specialists to review AI-generated code and explanations, write strong model solutions, and evaluate correctness, readability, reasoning quality, and idiomatic backend style. The work includes assessing concurrency, error handling, interfaces, API design, and other core Go practices.
You will also compare multiple AI responses, fact-check technical content, and create high-quality training material for Go and backend development tasks. This is expert review and AI training work performed as a flexible remote contract.
- Up to $60 per hour, depending on country variant
- 20+ hours per week
- Contractor and part-time engagement
- Remote hiring in select countries
What You’ll Do
You will combine hands-on Go programming experience with careful technical evaluation and clear English writing. Your feedback will help distinguish correct, maintainable, idiomatic backend solutions from responses with conceptual, design, or implementation problems.
- Review AI-generated Go code and explanations for correctness, readability, and idiomatic style.
- Identify issues involving concurrency, goroutines, channels, shared-state bugs, error handling, conceptual understanding, and backend design.
- Write clear model solutions and pedagogical technical explanations.
- Evaluate and compare AI responses for accuracy, reasoning quality, fluency, and contextual relevance.
- Create prompts and responses for AI training across diverse technical topics.
- Assess backend-oriented Go code for API design, error propagation, and maintainability.
Requirements
Applicants should bring professional Go experience in backend services, APIs, or systems work, along with the ability to assess production-style code in detail. Strong English communication is essential because the work includes technical explanations, model solutions, and written evaluation feedback.
