The role
Record high-quality German voice samples for TTS training and evaluation. You will perform conversational, narrative, and instructional scripts and supply alternate takes with varied emotion, emphasis, and delivery as requested.
This is a contractor, part-time position paid hourly.
Pay: $50 USD per hour.
Data type: Audio; label task: AUDIO_RECORDING (text-to-speech voice recording).

What you'll do
Deliver clean, expressive audio that stays consistent in voice, accent, and pacing while following provided scripts and directions.
Record German voice samples across conversational, narrative, and instructional styles.
Provide multiple takes with different tones, emotions, emphasis, and delivery styles when requested.
Maintain consistent pronunciation, diction, and intonation across sessions.
Requirements
You must meet all of the required qualifications below to be considered.
Native German speaker and legally based in Germany (DE).
Experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting.
Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup (quiet space, quality microphone).
Strong control of intonation, diction, pacing, and emotional range; able to follow scripts precisely while keeping delivery natural.
Comfort recording multiple takes with varied emotion and delivery styles.
Weekly commitment: 20+ hours/week (note: the role description also references availability of 5–10 hours/week in some project blocks).
Helpful background & tools
The following are not required but make your application stronger and help you work more efficiently.
Experience recording for TTS, audiobooks, IVR, or AI voice datasets.
Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
Prior work delivering clean, edited files to specification (naming, format, sample rate).
How it works / How to apply
