The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a German Voice Actor for AI Voice Data to create engaging German voice-over recordings for varied projects. You will bring characters and stories to life through clear speech, emotional range, appropriate pacing, and authentic script interpretation.

This is an entry-level, part-time contractor opportunity requiring 20 or more hours per week. Work may be completed from a professional home studio or in an in-studio setting.

What You'll Do

You will record scripted voice-overs and deliver polished audio files that meet the required quality standards and file formats. The work includes interpreting scripts, taking creative direction, and refining performances when feedback is provided.

• Record German voice-overs from a professional home studio or comparable in-studio setup
• Perform scripted lines with clear diction, emotional range, and controlled pacing
• Bring varied characters, tones, and performance styles to life
• Interpret scripts and adapt delivery to creative direction
• Revise performances based on feedback
• Deliver polished audio files on time and in the required format

Requirements

Applicants should be fluent in German and have previous voice acting experience, strong vocal control, clear speech, and versatility across characters, tones, and performance styles. Careful attention to recording quality is important.

You must be able to follow direction, meet deadlines, and access high-quality recording equipment for remote work. Experience with dubbing, ADR, localization, acting, performing arts, audio editing tools, or a demo reel showing varied voice styles is helpful.
