About AI Training and Audio Transcription

AI training is the human work behind better artificial intelligence. For speech systems, contributors review recordings and transcripts so models can learn how people speak across accents, dialects, registers, and everyday situations.

Your careful corrections will help improve how AI systems recognize and transcribe spoken German.

  • Contribute to cutting-edge AI development
  • Use language and listening skills in practical technical work
  • Work remotely with a flexible, independent schedule

The Role

As a German Audio Transcript Editor, you will review German audio recordings against existing transcripts and make precise word-level corrections. You will also verify transcript timing and apply project style guidelines consistently.

Austrian German speakers are especially valuable because of their familiarity with regional accents, phrasing, colloquial speech, and dialect variation. This is an entry-level contractor role, and prior transcription or annotation experience is helpful but not required.

  • Flag unclear, overlapping, or otherwise challenging audio segments
  • Handle Austrian dialect, colloquial speech, filler words, and non-standard language according to project guidelines
  • Maintain high quality and consistency across transcript assignments

Requirements
