The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Generalist AI Content Evaluator to review everyday professional work products and help evaluate frontier AI models. You will assess documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and similar written materials for quality, accuracy, clarity, completeness, correctness, reasoning, and formatting.
This is an entry-level contract role for a careful, independent evaluator. No prior AI or machine-learning experience is required.
Pay: $50-$70 per hour
Work type: Remote contract, part-time
Location: United States or Canada
Schedule: 20+ hours per week, with a default commitment of 40 hours per week

What You'll Do
You will work independently across common document, presentation, and spreadsheet tools. Your ratings and written feedback will help assess how AI systems reason about and produce real-world professional materials.
Review documents, slides, spreadsheets, and related professional materials
Evaluate clarity, accuracy, completeness, reasoning, and formatting
Compare and rank AI-generated outputs using defined evaluation criteria
Provide clear written feedback and ratings
Identify errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and gaps in reasoning
Move comfortably between varied written formats and professional work products
Requirements
You should be able to evaluate varied professional content against defined standards and make consistent, well-reasoned judgments. Strong communication and attention to detail are central to the work.
Bachelor's degree required

Ability to evaluate documents, slides, and spreadsheets for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and formatting
Sound judgment when comparing and ranking AI-generated professional outputs
