About This Role

We're hiring a Frontend UI Engineer to translate component style guides and interface screenshots into responsive, accessible, and high-performance web components. This contract, part-time role focuses on pixel-perfect implementation, attention to interaction details, and clear asynchronous collaboration.

What You'll Do

You will take visual references and established style guides and deliver production-ready front-end components that match designs closely and work smoothly across screen sizes.

  • Interpret component style guides and screenshots into precise, pixel-accurate UI deliverables.
  • Build responsive web components using TypeScript and CSS3 that perform well on desktop and mobile.
  • Maintain visual consistency with existing design systems and meet accessibility standards.
  • Document decisions, surface design ambiguities, and collaborate asynchronously with product and design stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies in design specifications and improve UI performance.

Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate front-end engineering skill and the ability to reproduce detailed visual designs. This role is entry-level friendly but expects clear evidence of the required skills.

  • Proven experience building pixel-perfect interfaces from detailed visual references.
  • Strong TypeScript and CSS3 skills and solid knowledge of responsive web design.
  • Experience working with component style guides and design systems.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG-level considerations) in UI implementation.
  • Strong English communication skills for clear written documentation and asynchronous collaboration.
