The Financial Systems Expert Role

As a Financial Systems Expert, you will apply hands-on accounting and financial systems experience to assess AI-generated accounting work. You will review whether outputs are accurate, aligned with accounting standards, and appropriate for real-world financial workflows.

This role is suited to an expert contributor with at least three years of relevant paid experience and prior paid Human Data support experience for AI training.

• Hourly pay: $90 to $170 USD
• Typical listed rate: $130 USD per hour

What You'll Do

You will evaluate accounting outputs and workflows with strong accuracy and attention to detail. Your feedback will help improve both project performance and the quality of AI model responses.

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy and alignment with accounting standards
• Review financial statements and month-end close workpapers
• Identify misstatements and explain appropriate accounting treatments
• Assess financial systems workflows and underlying logic
• Apply grading rubrics consistently
• Flag ambiguous cases for further review
• Create realistic accounting scenarios and reference answers
• Deliver actionable written feedback
• Explain screening decisions clearly

Requirements

Applicants must have at least three years of hands-on experience in one or more relevant areas, including financial accounting, month-end close, corporate accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management accounting, cost accounting, or FP&A.

You must be able to prepare or review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements. Strong written and verbal English communication at B2 level or above, fluent English proficiency, reliable internet access, and immediate availability are required.

• At least three years of relevant hands-on experience
• Prior paid Human Data support experience for AI training
• Experience with financial accounting systems and reporting
• Experience using NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, or Dynamics 365
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Reliable internet connection
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
