The Role

As a Financial Documents Specialist (Chinese) you will create, analyze, and evaluate finance-related documents in Chinese to produce high-quality labeled data and written guidance that trains AI models.

You will work independently as a remote contractor, following project rubrics and providing clear bilingual explanations where required. OpenTrain will provide project instructions and quality standards.

• Role type: Part-time contractor (remote).
• Estimated time: about 20 hours per week for 1–3 months.
• Data types: financial documents, spreadsheets, presentations (DOCUMENT).
• Annotation tasks include evaluation/rating and text generation to produce labeled training data.

What You’ll Do

• Create, format, and edit complex finance documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Analyze and review financial documents and datasets for accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
• Provide clear written and verbal explanations of financial documentation processes in Chinese (and where needed, in English).
• Apply detailed project rubrics consistently and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
• Handle sensitive financial information securely and professionally to produce high-quality training data.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Chinese; strong written and verbal communication in Chinese required.
• Ability to clearly explain complex financial concepts in both English and Chinese.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in finance focused on creating or managing financial documents.
• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, including complex formatting and data presentation.
• Exceptional organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Comfort working independently as a remote contractor on short-term projects.

Schedule, Pay, and Contract

This is part-time contractor work with flexible scheduling. Time is estimated at about 20 hours per week across a 1–3 month engagement, but exact hours and schedule are set per project.

Pay range for the role is $10–$55 per hour (USD), paid on an hourly contractor basis.
