Why AI-training and finance work matters
Modern AI systems learn from examples and human judgment. Finance-domain reviewers shape how models handle high-stakes workflows — improving model safety, compliance, fraud detection, payments operations, and sanctions screening.
This work is remote and flexible, making it a good fit for experienced finance professionals who want part-time consulting-style engagements while directly influencing how AI handles regulated financial tasks.
The Role — Finance Workflow Realism Reviewer
You will evaluate finance tasks and workflows for professional realism, scope, and internal consistency. Focus areas include model risk, compliance, payments, fraud, AML, sanctions, operational controls, governance, and testing.
Work type: contract, part-time (20+ hours/week). Labeling details: text-based evaluation work (dataType: TEXT) using evaluation and RLHF-style ratings (labelTypes: EVALUATION_RATING, RLHF). Experience level: Expert.
What you'll do day-to-day
Review finance tasks and workflows for realism and internal consistency.
Evaluate whether task context, constraints, and assumptions match professional practice.
Identify missing assumptions, ambiguous instructions, unsupported requirements, and edge cases.
Flag tasks that are too broad, generic, or unlikely to reveal true finance capability.
Provide concise, structured written feedback and recommendations to improve task quality.
When needed, cross-check task logic with trusted domain peers to confirm judgments.
Requirements
Professional experience in model risk management, model validation, compliance, payments, fraud, AML, sanctions, or adjacent financial-services controls.
Direct knowledge of one or more payments rails and their operational risks.
Strong understanding of governance, documentation, testing, monitoring, controls, and issue remediation.
Excellent written communication and the ability to explain judgments clearly.
High attention to detail and comfort evaluating work against explicit standards.
Experience reviewing analysts, approving work, designing controls, or setting quality standards is a plus.
Who should apply
Experienced finance control professionals, model risk reviewers, compliance officers, payments operations leads, fraud investigators, or AML/sanctions specialists who enjoy writing clear, evidence-based feedback.
You should be comfortable translating professional practice into actionable task improvements and defending judgments in concise written form.
