Why AI Training Work Matters
AI training (data labeling and human feedback) is how modern models learn from real examples and human judgment. This role helps ensure finance-related evaluation tasks reflect real professional practice—shaping how AI systems understand and handle finance scenarios.
Work is 100% remote and often flexible; many projects accept nontraditional schedules.
Contributors directly influence model behavior by improving task design and feedback quality.
The Role
As a Finance Workflow Realism Reviewer you'll evaluate finance tasks and workflows for realism, scope, clarity, and internal consistency. Your feedback will help turn ambiguous or impractical prompts into tasks that signal meaningful finance capability for downstream model evaluation.
Contractor role focused on high-engagement sprint work over the coming week.
You will produce concise written recommendations and structured evaluations.
What You'll Do
You will review task inputs, context, constraints, and expected workflows to check whether they match how finance work is performed in practice. Expect to assess edge cases, identify missing assumptions, and propose concrete fixes that make tasks more realistic and actionable.

Provide structured feedback and targeted recommendations to improve task realism.
Cross-check task logic with trusted domain peers when needed.
Required Qualifications
We need reviewers who combine domain experience with clear written judgement. This is an entry-level opportunity in the AI training space, but it demands substantive finance knowledge and strong communication skills.
Background in financial planning, wealth management, retirement planning, tax planning, RIA operations, supervision, or compliance.
Strong understanding of fiduciary practice, suitability, household financial tradeoffs, and client communication.
Excellent written communication and ability to explain judgments clearly.
High attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
CFP certification preferred for planning-focused work.
Experience reviewing analysts, approving work, designing controls, or setting quality standards is especially valuable.
Compensation & Logistics
Pay for this contract role is $125 to $165 per hour. Work is remote and organized as high-engagement sprints over the next week; individual multi-hour tasks commonly take about 2–4 hours in one sitting.
Payment type: hourly, USD $125–$165/hr.
Work arrangement: remote contractor; short, intensive sprints.
Data type: text. Label types you'll produce include evaluation ratings and concise text summaries.
