Federal Staff Reporting Analyst

You will create, review, and refine realistic federal reporting documents from prompts and supporting materials. Your work will help train AI systems to produce accurate reports that follow military and federal reporting standards.

• Write and review Weekly Action Reports, Situation Reports, after-action summaries, and executive briefings.
• Grade sample submissions for clarity, accuracy, compliance, and use of federal reporting conventions.
• Create example documents and reference answers for status and compliance reports used by federal agencies and military branches.
• Help develop guidelines, scoring criteria, and rubrics for AI-generated federal reports.
• Take part in feedback cycles so deliverables meet changing project and client standards.

What It Pays and Takes

This is a part-time independent contractor role for candidates in the United States. The work requires professional fluency in English and direct experience with federal or Department of Defense reporting.

• Pay: $40 to $80 per hour.
• Location: Open to candidates in the United States.
• Language: Professional fluency in English.
• Experience: At least 3 years of federal reporting or staff writing experience with the U.S. Department of Defense as a uniformed service member or DoD civilian.
• Reporting expertise: Experience producing WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, and executive summaries.
• Military background: Experience with one or more U.S. military branches.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with close attention to federal style guides.
• Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for official reports and memoranda.
• Work status: Authorization to work in the United States as an independent contractor using 1099 classification.
