The Role

OpenTrain is seeking an Electrical Test Automation Engineer for a short-term project supporting AI training workflows. You will work with electrical and electronic hardware, laboratory instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and hardware interfaces to create reliable test approaches and assess results against technical requirements.

What You'll Do

You will design and execute automated testing approaches, connect instruments and data systems, and use technical analysis to evaluate hardware behavior. The work may include functional, performance, validation, regression, and hardware-in-the-loop testing where applicable.

  • Design automated test systems, procedures, and test sequences for electrical and electronic hardware
  • Integrate test instruments, data acquisition systems, and hardware interfaces to automate measurements
  • Develop test scripts, automation frameworks, and data analysis workflows
  • Perform functional, performance, validation, regression, and hardware-in-the-loop testing where applicable
  • Analyze results and troubleshoot hardware and test setups
  • Identify root causes of failures
  • Review test methodologies and technical approaches against project requirements

Required Qualifications
