The Role

As a Developmental Psychology PhD contractor, you will evaluate, review, and annotate datasets relevant to child development and developmental psychology for AI system training. You will provide expert analysis of data and model outputs, with particular attention to accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and developmental relevance.

The work also includes contributing to scenarios and test cases involving children’s learning and behavior, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and documenting findings that support ongoing AI research and development.

What You'll Do

You will help ensure that AI systems reflect sound developmental psychology principles across diverse backgrounds. Your feedback will inform model improvements, scenario design, testing, and guidelines for linguistically, cognitively, and psychosocially appropriate interactions.

  • Evaluate, review, and annotate child development and developmental psychology datasets
  • Assess the accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and developmental relevance of data and model outputs
  • Contribute expert analysis to scenarios, test cases, and real-world situations involving children’s learning and behavior
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support model improvements and psychological integrity
  • Create or refine guidelines addressing linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of child development
  • Document findings and recommendations clearly and in depth

Preferred Qualifications

The strongest candidates will bring advanced academic expertise in developmental psychology or a closely related field, along with the ability to work carefully and independently in a remote digital environment. Experience with technology-driven, digital, or AI-focused projects related to child development is highly desirable.

  • Fluent English proficiency
  • Comfort working in Bengali, Russian, and Japanese prioritized
