The Role

This is listed as an entry-level AI-training opportunity, but it requires substantial dermatology qualifications and experience. The role is based in India, conducted in English, and requires a commitment of 20 or more hours per week.

  • Role type: Part-time contractor

  • Time commitment: 20+ hours per week
  • Working language: English
  • Work setting: Remote

What You’ll Do

You will evaluate AI-generated clinical material and dermatology images for medical quality, safety, and usefulness. Your reviews will combine structured ratings with clear written rationales so project teams can understand both the issue and the reasoning behind your judgment.

  • Review AI-generated medical text for dermatological accuracy, safety, relevance, harmfulness, and completeness
  • Evaluate diagnoses, treatment plans, and clinical summaries
  • Assess image quality and diagnostic usability
  • Identify image issues such as blur, lighting, exposure, colour, and framing
  • Document confidence ratings and evidence-based medical rationales
  • Apply project guidelines consistently across repeated review tasks
  • Provide expert feedback supporting medically responsible model performance

Requirements

This role requires completed medical training and significant post-residency dermatology experience. You must be able to assess clinical content against evidence-based dermatology standards and explain medical judgments clearly in written feedback.

  • MBBS with completed Dermatology residency
  • At least five years of post-residency dermatology experience
  • Based in India
  • Ability to evaluate dermatology images and AI-generated clinical content for accuracy, safety, diagnostic usability, and medical relevance
  • Strong visual attention to detail
  • Comfort reviewing sensitive or graphic medical images
  • Ability to apply evidence-based guidelines consistently
  • Comfort using web-based evaluation tools, image zoom features, structured questionnaires, and detailed project guidelines
  • Ability to document clear confidence ratings and medical rationales

Who Should Apply

Apply if you are a qualified dermatology professional who wants to use clinical expertise in an emerging AI-training setting. The work is suited to someone who can make careful visual assessments, recognize clinically important errors, and communicate nuanced medical reasoning with precision.

  • Dermatologists with the required residency and post-residency experience
  • Clinicians comfortable evaluating both medical images and written clinical content
  • Detail-oriented reviewers who can work consistently within structured guidelines
  • Medical professionals interested in contributing to safer, more capable AI systems
