About AI Training Work
AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Specialists review examples, evaluate model responses, annotate information, and provide structured feedback so AI systems learn to produce more accurate and useful results.
This work offers a way to apply real-world professional knowledge to cutting-edge technology. Many AI training projects are remote and flexible, while specialist engagements like this one rely on deep expertise in a particular business function.
The Role
As a CRM Operations Specialist, you will help train next-generation AI systems by evaluating AI-generated output related to CRM workflows, sales processes, and automation logic. Your assessments will help models learn how real-world CRM and sales operations should work.
This is a remote contractor role open worldwide. The project is expected to run for approximately 3 to 6 months, with compensation listed at $28 to $92 per hour. The structured rate information also lists $55 per hour.

What You'll Do
You will combine CRM operations knowledge with paid experience in human data work for AI models. The work includes applying written rubrics, reviewing text-based outputs, and identifying issues that require escalation when existing guidelines do not adequately address a case.
Evaluate AI-generated output on CRM workflows, sales processes, and automation logic for accuracy and alignment with real-world business practices.
Review, analyze, and annotate CRM data, records, and user interactions to support AI training objectives.
Rate or rank model responses consistently using written guidelines and rubrics.
Flag cases that fall beyond current guidelines.
Contribute representative CRM scenarios, examples, and feedback grounded in sales enablement best practices.
Document current sales operations practices, including pain points and opportunities for meaningful process improvement.
Deliver clear, actionable written feedback to project stakeholders and model development teams.
Complete text labeling, evaluation rating, RLHF, and text generation tasks.
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
This is an expert-level engagement. Domain expertise in CRM operations and sales enablement is essential, as is prior paid human data work supporting AI. Simply using AI tools such as ChatGPT in day-to-day work does not meet the AI experience requirement.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in CRM and sales operations.
At least 2 years of direct experience working with CRM platforms.
Proven expertise with Salesforce or HubSpot; depth in one platform is sufficient.
Comparable CRM experience may be considered.
Experience with Close, Apollo, Salesloft, Intercom, Freshdesk, Shopify, Crayon, or ClickFunnels is highly valued.
Ability to optimize sales processes, implement automations, and maintain CRM data integrity.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in complex business workflows, including process mapping.
Prior paid experience with AI annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response or model evaluation, or rubric-based grading.
Experience with CRM integrations, automation, data migrations, or CRM logic testing as a software or QA engineer is a plus.
Strong written and verbal English at B2 level or above; fluent English proficiency is required.
Reliable internet connection and availability to begin promptly.
Who Should Apply
This opportunity is designed for CRM and sales operations professionals who can explain how business workflows operate in practice and assess whether AI-generated recommendations, records, and automation logic are accurate. It may suit professionals with experience across Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable CRM environments.
Applicants should also have real, paid experience completing human data work for AI. Your ability to make careful judgments, follow evaluation criteria, identify edge cases, and communicate precise written feedback will be central to the project.
