About AI Training Work
AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Specialists review model outputs, provide structured feedback, and prepare high-quality examples that help AI systems become more accurate, useful, and aligned with real-world practices.
This project is focused on CRM operations and sales enablement. Your professional experience will help evaluate whether AI-generated workflows, recommendations, and responses reflect sound business processes.
The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking a CRM Operations Specialist for a remote, part-time contractor engagement supporting a project focused on optimizing sales and customer relationship management processes. You will use your CRM and sales operations knowledge to evaluate AI systems and provide practical, detailed feedback.
No prior experience in AI is required, but relevant CRM expertise and prior paid human data work supporting AI models are both essential for this engagement. Using AI tools such as ChatGPT in your regular work does not satisfy the human data work requirement.

Contribute representative CRM and sales enablement examples grounded in professional best practices.
Document current sales operations practices, including pain points and opportunities for process improvement.
Deliver clear, actionable written feedback to project stakeholders and model development teams.
Required Qualifications
This project is intended for professionals with hands-on CRM and sales operations experience as well as prior paid experience performing human data work for AI models. The source role identifies the engagement as entry level, while also specifying the following experience requirements.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in CRM and sales operations.
At least 2 years of direct experience working with CRM platforms.
Proven expertise with Salesforce or HubSpot; depth in one platform is sufficient.
Comparable CRM experience may be considered.
Demonstrated ability to optimize sales processes, implement automations, and maintain CRM data integrity.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in complex business workflows, including process mapping.
Prior paid human data work involving annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading.
Strong written and verbal English at B2 level or above.
Reliable internet connection and availability to begin promptly.
Valued Platform Experience
Experience with additional CRM, sales, customer support, commerce, or marketing automation platforms is highly valued. Experience as a software or QA engineer is also useful but is not essential.
