The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a CRM Operations AI Evaluator to improve AI systems through expert review of customer relationship management and sales operations work. You will assess AI-generated CRM workflows, sales processes, and automation logic for accuracy, review CRM records and user interactions, and apply structured evaluation rubrics.

This role combines practical CRM expertise with prior paid human data work for AI. The position is open worldwide and requires English proficiency at B2 level or above.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated CRM workflows, sales processes, and automation logic against real-world business practices.
• Review, analyze, and annotate CRM data, records, and user interactions for AI training objectives.
• Rate or rank model responses using written guidelines and structured rubrics.
• Flag cases that require judgment beyond the current guidance.
• Contribute representative CRM scenarios, examples, and feedback grounded in sales enablement best practices.
• Document sales operations practices, process pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver clear, actionable written feedback to model development stakeholders.

Requirements and Helpful Experience

You should bring substantial hands-on experience in CRM and sales operations, along with prior paid human-data work for AI. Strong analytical communication is essential because evaluations must be accurate, consistent, and clearly explained.

Experience with additional CRM, sales, support, commerce, or marketing tools can be useful. Background in software or quality assurance engineering related to CRM integrations, automation, data migrations, or CRM logic testing is also valuable.

• At least three years of hands-on CRM and sales operations experience.
• At least two years working directly with CRM platforms.
• Strong expertise with Salesforce or HubSpot; comparable CRM experience is also relevant.
• Experience optimizing sales processes, implementing automations, maintaining CRM data integrity, and mapping complex workflows.
• Prior paid AI human-data work involving annotation, labeling, RLHF, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Helpful tools include Close, Apollo, Salesloft, Intercom, Freshdesk, Shopify, Crayon, and ClickFunnels.
• Helpful background includes QA or software engineering for CRM integrations, automation, data migrations, or CRM logic testing.
