OpenTrain is seeking a Contract Redlining Attorney to provide expert review of commercial agreements as part of an AI training project. What You'll Do
You will analyze legal documents and explain revisions clearly enough to support consistent evaluation and AI training. The engagement includes both document review and written analysis of contract issues.
Review master services agreements, nondisclosure agreements, data processing agreements, and similar documents
Identify material contract issues
Determine appropriate company positions and acceptable fallback outcomes
Draft clear, reasoned explanations for redlines and revisions
Connect recommendations to relevant commercial or legal concerns
Evaluate limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and data protection provisions
Translate complex contract issues into actionable written analysis
Apply playbook guidance while balancing ideal language with practical business outcomes
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction. At least four years of transactional practice at a law firm or in-house is required, along with substantial commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation experience.
