The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Contract Redlining Attorney to support AI training and evaluation through technology transactions work. You will review simulated contract negotiations, assess AI responses to contract scenarios, and apply practical legal judgment to drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining workflows.

The opportunity is listed as entry level, but it requires at least three years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions. This is a remote, part-time contractor opportunity requiring 20 or more hours per week.

What You’ll Do

You will perform simulated negotiations and redlining exercises involving technology agreements. You will also review AI-generated responses to contract scenarios and provide expert feedback on accuracy, risk analysis, and legal reasoning.

Your work will help establish consistent standards for evaluating contract language, negotiation positions, and model outputs. You will contribute to legal-review data, guidelines, best practices, and objective evaluation frameworks for AI-driven contract solutions.

Requirements

Candidates should have at least three years of in-house technology transactions experience, including direct experience negotiating master services agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and data processing agreements.

Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining skills are required. You should also bring exceptional written and verbal communication, analytical judgment, and meticulous attention to detail.
